Today in our club meeting we challenged everyone to pitch their ideas for a better pencil! Everyone had an interesting approach to improvements. Some focused on the chemical compounds of the lead, others wanted to fix the grip and increase the size/quality of the erasers. It was really cool how a few people also thought about ways to implement technology in the pencil to make it easier to find with a tracker or add a figure locking feature so the pencil is "truly personal" :)! The club is so happy that everyone had so much fun!!!!
Next meeting we plan on going more in depth with tips and strategies on brainstorming products on the spot! We will also discuss possible volunteering opportunities club members can participate in during the pandemic!
