! LAUNCH OF THE WEBSITE !

2018 - 2019

The launch of this Website will allow for updates for our club to be displayed and show-off the achievements we have done throughout the duration of the Club's life-cycle. This will allow us to post updates on the news service system, blog, and with our subscription members will be up to date with all of the essentials.

EBAY USED FOR OUR FUNDRAISERS!?

2018 - 2019

We decided to implement Ebay as a form to raise money for fundraisers. We believed that many of us have items that just sit around and we plan on throwing away, but as the saying goes, "One person's trash is another person's treasure." As founders of the club, we think this is a new take to doing fundraisers and can help unclutter our houses for a good cause. This tactic allowed us to raise $377 for the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) in the first year it was employed and we hope to earn more money in the future, to help our school and other schools in financial need!!!!

GETTING ACCEPTED TO OUR FIRST NATIONAL BUSINESS COMPETITION

2018 - 2019

One of our Founders [Nathan Hadjiyski] had his video pitch picked for the Start-UP competition and since it was such short notice he made the pitch on the day of the deadline, but out of the 100s of videos submitted his was picked (You can find the full video in the blog section).

The idea was a shoe that generates electricity by walking, which could hopefully benefit people in need of power or an average consumer, he perfected his model and was ready to partner up.

Together with the Co-founder [Arjun Patel] pitched the idea as a team. The Experience was a lot of fun and we hope more of our club can compete in the following competition!!!

HOSTING OUR FIRST SPEAKER

2019 - 2020

A to Z was very honored to be able to host our first speaker the club! We were really happy with the amount of people that showed up and how excited the club members were to see the presentation! Everyone who attended said they really enjoyed it, and got a better perspective to the business world and what it is like to be a chemical engineer. Milko Gergov, a 45-year plastics veteran, is known for the IntelliMold process he developed in
the early 1990s, which controls injection molding melt pressure and temperature using transducer.

WE PARTICIPATED IN OUR FIRST INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMPETITION!

2019-2020

We at A to Z are so proud of all the people that were able to make it this national business competition! Tim Cheek made it in with his idea "Shockwave" a electric wallet that is designed to be anti-theft. Arjun Patel made it in with his idea "Curtain Call" a connection based service for actors and directors to work together easier. Nathan Hadjiyski made it in with his idea "KASTER" which is a tool for oncologists to use when detecting kidney cancer by using Deep Learning/Artificial Intelligence.

Unfortunately due to recently due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic it was cancelled. We are really sad that everyone's hard work wont be available to be presented, but it wasn't a waste of time because everyone learned a lot and had a fun experience making their pitch/product.

We hope to compete next year, but regardless we had more people get in this year which is a big achievement in itself!!!

PITCHING AT THE TECHSTARS STARTUP WEEKEND

2019 - 2020

After showing up as the only contestant below 18 years old at Techstars Startup Weekend, Co-Founder [Arjun Patel] and his team of one other member managed to secure a winning spot with his idea, PARKit: an app that connects part time workers and on-the-go drivers with the work of valeting. "After the other two left, I found my partner and I staying up until 2-3 both weekend nights." He claims. "Even though it looked like I worked really hard, it didn't feel like work. I had a lot of fun." In the end, this was an opportunity worth learning from for future experiences. We at A to Z is so proud of him!

WE HAD 3X AS MANY TEAMS MAKE IT TO STARTUP HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

WE AREN'T CANCELED! GOOGLE HANGOUT TO THE RESCUE!

2019-2020

We at A to Z want to continue to inspire and help people stay connected which is why we are rolling out the use of Google hangouts! With Hangouts we can see each other face to face and have the ability to converse and debate on different ideas, and is the closet we can be to seeing each other. We chose Hangouts because its the default application that our school is providing at the moment allowing for it to be easy access for people with and without their school email.

The team at A to Z is working very hard to make fun activities for you guys and bring a sense of togetherness in these hard times!

COVID-19 is making things really making things tough but A to Z doesn't give up!

WE MADE IT TO THE FINALS IN OUR FIRST NATIONAL ONLINE BUSINESS COMPETITION!!!

2019-2020

Recently A to Z challenged its members to participate in the QØ Cup a competitive Online National Business Completion. We are so proud by the sheer amount of participants and are happy to see that people had fun doing it to get their mind off the COVID-19 situation.

Udit Garg actually was able to make it to the Finals of the competition!

Ivan Lopez, Ralph Notz and Eduardo Valladares made it to round one and had the idea to improve the quality of foundation of the house with the use of different plastics.

Joseph Alphonso and Jaemin Lee made it to round two with their idea of popularizing soloar panel phone cases to help slow down climate change.

Udit Garg made it to the Finals with his idea to provide a service for people who are looking for a more innovative and creative alternative to pay respects to the dead and not leave a huge carbon footprint.

We here at A to Z are so proud and hope they have a chance to make it to the next round!!! This achievements shows that even with hardships we are facing now we can find ways to be productive and have fun doing it!

Good job A to Z!!!!

WE SUCCESSFULLY RAISED MONEY FOR THE PTSO DURING THE PANDEMIC!

2020-2021

This is the second year our club raised money using eBay to sell unwarted commodities to people that want them for the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO)! We are happy to report we have raised $1656.54 during the pandemic. This is a $1,279.54 increase from last years $377, and this is because we streamlined the process and made it easier for club members to sell items. Thanks to everyone in the club we were able to give the money back to our school! This is such a great contribution to the PTSO because during the pandemic Ann Arbor Publics Schools spent a lot of money for student supplies, and this will hopefully help them with more purchases! Again we are so proud of everyone that made this possible, and we are super happy that we could help out Pioneer!

If you would like to Support the PTSO visit our eBay Account: https://ebay.com/usr/a-zbusiness

It's great that during the pandemic we all came as a collective to help our school and I as well as all the leaders are so grateful!!!
